Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to charge an electric vehicle?
There are a number of factors to consider when determining the time it takes to charge an electric vehicle. The most common factors are battery size and charger size (speed ie.7kW-350kW). Charger sizes are referenced in levels: Level 1, Level 2, and DCFC.

How far can I travel on a full charge?
This is typically determined by battery size. Other factors can influence range (mileage) such as weather and/or driver behavior.

How long will an electric vehicle battery last?
The government mandates EV manufactures to warranty batteries for 8 years or 100,000 miles. The typical EV battery should last 15-20 years.

Can I charge my electric vehicle anywhere?
When using Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, most electric vehicles will connect using a J1772 charging connector. When charging on a DCFC, electric vehicles will use 1 of 3 charging connectors; CCS, CHAdeMO, Tesla.

How much does it cost to charge my electric vehicle?
There are several factors when determining the cost to charge an electric vehicle, these include:

  • When charging at home, the cost of electricity is determined by your local electric company.
  • EV charging stations charge either by the kilowatt hour (KWH) or by minute. Charging rates are posted on each charging unit.

Ko-Go LLC is a small business owned Commercial EV Charging company in the beautiful state of New Hampshire (NH). Every year NH generates $3.5B - $5B annually in tourism revenue from consumers visiting our shorelines, lakes, white mountains, and trails. The majority of visitors drive their own vehicles to enjoy as much of NH as they can per visit. However, NH is the 4th state in the U.S. in EV ownership per capita without a robust EV charging infrastructure to support these EV drivers. Ko-Go is going to change that! We here at Ko-Go are committed to expanding the reach of all electric vehicles and are building “For-Purpose” commercial EV charging Stations. Watch for our grand opening of the Rochester station coming soon.
